This is one of my favorite post-workout snacks. It’s easy to make, packed with protein, and I love having a batch ready in the fridge. Protein plays an important role in recovery after a workout, and on busy days when I’m rushing from one thing to the next, having these protein balls ready makes fueling my body simple and stress-free.
Ingredients

1 cup soft pitted Medjool dates
3/4 cup nut butter (almond or peanut)
2 scoop protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
1 cup rolled oats
¼ cup mini dark chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
1–2 tbsp milk or water (only if needed)
Preparation
Add the dates, nut butter, protein powder, rolled oats, vanilla extract, and sea salt to a food processor.
Blend until a thick, sticky dough forms.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and fold in the mini dark chocolate chips.
If the mixture feels dry, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk or water and mix again until the dough holds together.
Roll into 1-inch balls.
Chill in the fridge for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
