  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • ½ tablespoon honey

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

For Garnish (Optional):

  • Sesame seeds

  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

1. Prepare the Salmon

  • Use a sharp knife to remove the skin from the salmon fillet.

  • Slice the salmon into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

2. Make the Teriyaki Glaze

  • In a small bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, black pepper, honey, and garlic powder until well combined.

  • Pro Tip: Double the sauce to use as a dip or drizzle!

3. Coat the Salmon

  • Brush or toss the salmon cubes in the teriyaki glaze, ensuring they’re evenly coated.

4. Air Fry the Salmon

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  • Arrange the salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.

  • Air fry for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the salmon reaches your preferred doneness.

5. Serve & Garnish

  • Remove from the air fryer and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

  • Serve warm with extra teriyaki sauce on the side.
