No-Bake Energy Bites: A Healthy Snack for the Whole Family

If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the hunt for quick, healthy snacks that satisfy your cravings without the guilt. These no-bake energy bites are a lifesaver! They’re super easy to make, loaded with wholesome ingredients, and perfect for the whole family. My kids love helping roll them out, and I love that they’re getting a snack that’s nutritious and delicious.
Whether you need a pre-workout boost, a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or a lunchbox treat, these energy bites are just what you need.
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or seed butter for allergies)
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
2 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional but fun!)
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Mix: Combine all the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Stir until everything is well mixed and forms a sticky dough.
Chill: Pop the bowl in the fridge for about 20 minutes. This makes the mixture easier to roll.
Roll: Once chilled, scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
Store: Place the bites in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge for up to a week—or freeze them for up to three months.

Customizations
The beauty of this recipe is how versatile it is. Here are some ideas to make these bites your own:
Swap the chocolate chips for dried cranberries or raisins.
Add shredded coconut or chopped nuts for extra texture.
Stir in a scoop of protein powder for an extra protein boost.
Sprinkle in cinnamon or vanilla extract for added flavor.
